About
The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is an annual competition for secondary-school students. Students do not apply directly: each country sends a small national team.
Who can apply?
Students from Pakistan: Eligibility unverified.
Age and grade: age Under 20; Grades TBA.
NSTC requires an aggregate of 60% or more in core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) in your last exam, and age under 20 at the time of the international olympiad.
How students get in
Through Pakistan’s national selection process.
Pakistan’s team is selected through the National Science Talent Contest (NSTC), run by the STEM Careers Programme (HEC with PIEAS/PAEC): a nationwide screening test, then residential training camps that narrow each subject to a small national team.
Register for the NSTC, sit the screening test, then attend selection and training camps.
